Join Interim Artistic Advisor, Kelly Corcoran, as she talks with artistic collaborators, and community members about how music intersects with the world we live in.

 

 

MUSIC + STEAM
This Connect: Coffee Hour will explore the concept of STEAM where the Arts are integrated into Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

With guests Jaria Gordon and David Laurenvil from Kids Make It, Amanda Wheeler and Lori Halligan from Living Arts and Science Center, and retired music teacher and educator Andrea Marcum.
Musical interlude composed and performed by LexPhil Percussionists - Jim Campbell, Brady Harrison, Brian Mason & Josh Smith.

This Connect: Coffee Hour focuses on the role of Music & Activism. Interim Artistic Advisor, Kelly Corcoran, will talk with socially conscious Hip-Hop artist, and community activist, Devine Carama, about music’s role in activism, the history of Hip-Hop, and Devine’s amazing work in the Lexington community.
