CONcERT Safety & Ticket Information

Last updated 9/1/2023

CONCERT SAFETY

Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our community, audience members, musicians, and staff.
The Lexington Philharmonic acknowledges that health and safety are significant factors in  sharing the transformative power of live orchestral music and the essential role it plays in a vibrant community.

In addition to CDC, state, and local ordinances, Lexington Philharmonic and the venues we perform in reserve the right to require safety measures as seen fit in order to protect our artists, staff, and community at large.

By attending any LexPhil event, you agree to the terms in the Audience Waiver as well as any safety regulations set forth by LexPhil and the hosting venue. Safety regulations are subject to change at any time in accordance to the evolving public health conditions in our community.

If you have any questions, please email us at tickets@lexphil.org.
We are grateful for your partnership in keeping our community healthy and our doors open!

Ticket Information

In an effort to meet the circumstances of the current COVID situation and help our audience members feel confident in purchasing tickets to LexPhil events, we are now allowing tickets to be exchanged for any reason at least 24 hours in advance of the concert for which you have tickets. A $4 per ticket exchange fee and any difference in ticket price will be charged at the time of exchange. Exchange fees are waived for Subscribers and Members of all levels.

If an event is canceled, ticket holders may choose one of the following options:

  • Donate the value of your ticket. By converting the value of your tickets into a donation to LexPhil, you'll receive a contribution receipt for tax purposes, and you will continue to support our ability to share music with the central Kentucky community. Canceled performances have a significant financial impact on our organization, and we appreciate your support by donating the value of your tickets.

  • Exchange your tickets for a future performance. Exchanges valid on tickets of equal value. The standard $4 exchange fee will be waived if you are making an exchange due to event cancelation. Additional fees may apply if you choose to exchange for tickets of higher value than your original tickets.

  • Request a refund. Instructions for requesting a refund will be provided to ticket holders in the event that a concert is canceled.

If you are feeling ill at the time of the event for which you have tickets, please contact the Box Office at (859) 233-4226 or email tickets@lexphil.org to make arrangements to exchange your tickets for a future performance. Please contact the Box Office by phone or email prior to the start time of the event in order to make alternative arrangements. The health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance.

Before You Arrive

  • In order to ensure the safety of all guests, please self-assess your health prior to visiting us. If you have a fever, are experiencing COVID symptoms, or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID, please stay home and contact the Box Office about ticket alternatives. To meet the circumstances of the COVID pandemic and help our audience members feel confident in purchasing tickets, we’ve updated our ticketing policies, which can be found below.

  • To reduce contact with event staff, we recommend choosing Email as your ticket delivery method. You can print your tickets or show them from your smartphone. Make sure you can access your tickets before arriving at your event. If you need help with your tickets when you arrive, our Box Office staff will be glad to assist you.
