MÉLISSE BRUNET, Music Director
LexPhil and The Lexington Singers return to the beautiful Cathedral of Christ the King for this holiday tradition in a program of timeless orchestral and choral works. This awe-inspiring musical experience in a divine setting will transport all to a place of peace that evokes the spirit of the holiday season.
what to expect:
Entering the Cathedral: We ask all who are able to enter through the Hehman Hall entrance at the back of the church off of Providence Lane. This is a handicap accessible entrance, with a ramp for those who use a wheelchair. These doors will be open starting at 6:15 PM. The Box Office & Will Call will be located inside the doors of the Hehman Hall entrance.
The sanctuary will open to audience members at 7:30 PM. There are some entrances that lead directly from the exterior of the building into the sanctuary. These entrances do not have ramps and are not handicap accessible. These doors will be open starting at 7:30 PM.
Seating: The cathedral is beautiful, but it is not a traditional performing arts venue; it is a church. Most of the seating in this venue is in traditional church pews with 12 ‘seats’ per pew. Some audience members find it helpful to bring a small seat cushion, much like you’d bring to a sporting event.
